Project : Environmental Engineering...e-Learning Material

This is the first project that EduTech took up. The objective was to develop concepts and methodology for creation of Interactive Multimedia Course Material, using Environmental Engineering as the subject of study. WBSCTE handles the Diploma Engineering education in the state through about 45 polytechnics. The Hon’ble Supreme Court made Environmental Studies a compulsory subject of study right from primary level up to graduation level. Being a new subject, institutes did not have teachers to handle the subject. This prompted the Council to look at e-Learning.

  • Learning aid by students for self-study
  • Teaching aid by teachers in class / computer laboratory
  • Multimedia presentation tool for environmental awareness and similar activities in schools, colleges and public gatherings. West Bengal Pollution Control Board used this in their own stall during “Paribesh Mela 2006.”
